Climate change is viewed as the main obstacle to agricultural development in developing countries. The high dependence on agriculture and allied sectors makes many countries vulnerable climate phenomenon. There a gap macro micro-level understanding of change. Thoughtful farmers’ perceptions impacts farming are fundamental for various mitigation adaptation strategies. Therefore, aim present study was understand pattern variability, about change, strategies based their socio-cultural background villages Goa, west coast India. results reveal that 62% sampled farmers have experienced terms meteorological indicators such increased average temperature, decreased total rainfall, delayed onset monsoon, an increase length summer season. temperature trend analysis (0.009 °C/year) validated perceptions, while perception rainfall differed (?1.49 mm/year). Farmers convinced has affected (declining crop livestock productivity, water depletion, other related farm operations). They strive adapt through diversification, integrated crop-livestock system, contingency planning, new crops varieties. This could be helpful policymakers establish climate-resilient system by ensuring timely availability inputs, accurate weather forecasting, encouraging insurance products enterprises, which will help cope with changing enhance income economic wellbeing.
